AtomicTime is a free live world clock. It shows the current time down to the second for 34 major cities, together with each city time zone, UTC offset and daylight saving status. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with any government time service.
Follow the live clock with seconds and milliseconds, switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display, compare cities with the time zone tools and the Matrix Planner, check sunrise, sunset and the moon phase, use the Chronometer, and use the Watch Sync Bench and the Watch Regulation Guide to check and set a mechanical or quartz watch.
Each city page, for example London, New York or Tokyo, shows the current local time, the UTC offset, whether daylight saving time is observed, the time difference to other major cities, and a short note on how that time zone came to be. The notes and the questions and answers are written for each city.
The clock is a web page, so what you see depends on your device and your network connection. It is accurate enough for everyday use, for meetings and for setting a watch by eye. For legal, scientific or financial timing, use an official source such as a national time laboratory or a GPS-disciplined time server.
